The idea of punk is to basically reject the mainstream way of thinking and conceptualising, and choosing your own path. Punk doesn’t necessarily mean to go around sporting studded leather jackets and a bigass mohawk - it just means to be an individual. Charles Darwin, for example, was a punk. He was a punk in the sense that he rejected the ideas of the Christian faith in regards to the creation of humans, and stated that we instead evolved from apes (total generalisation of what Darwin did, but anyways).
Regarding the Swastika shirt; that was basically worn to offend. The Punk movement in the 70s revolved around the ideal which I stated earlier, but also aimed to abolish the stigma attached to political correctness. Regardless of the horrors society has implemented within itself upon other groups, we’re so terribly afraid of ‘offending’ someone. I mean, the last thing you want is for someone to call you a racist nowadays, right? So by wearing the Swastika shirt, Sid wanted to basically send a big “fuck you” to the idea of political correctness, and the people who uphold it …
… or maybe, he just wanted to piss people off. Your call.

I can’t go to sleep because I’m thinking about Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. What is wrong with me??
Probably because of Gene Wilder. I understand. <3
The boyfriend and I have been sick all weekend, camped out on the couch. Currently watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Is it the cold medicine speaking, or is Gene Wilder kind of dreamy?
And now I want chocolate.
